Poland- e-book: Poland's contribution to the European culture




 Polish students made an  e-book presenting our national values - cities with buildings on the list of UNESCO, famous people, place (Wieliczka, Mazowsze Group, Amber etc).

In the book there is a short descriptions of the presenting objects (with Active links), photos.

Jaunmarupes primary school

The primary school of Jaunmarupe is a school in Marupe' s district in Riga region. It was founded in 2005. The school provides compulsory curriculum of primary education, focusing on foreign languages and STEM. The extra curricular activities include languages, art, music, dance, swimming, ice-skating, theater etc. The school consists of primary school from grade 1. till 9.The doors are open for all children in our community, no matter their nationality, religion, culture or social status. We give them love and attention and we try to understand and encourage their talents and abilities. Our team is highly skilled and responsible to novelty in the contemporary education and consistently improves and develops their professional skills. Several of our teachers are region wide competence based subject content coordinators. The parent's of our students understand the importance of diverse education. They support various extra curricular activities, events, contests, traditions, projects etc. in school and are interested in participating. This project help us to expand the horizon for the students, parents and teachers. It give us a chance to learn more about other European cultures. One of major priorities of our cooperation is involving students in all effective communication activities. We want to teach them independence, responsibility and teamwork; develop their communication skills, empathy, tolerance and respect for other people no matter their nationality, sex, health, social status, cultural differences etc. We also want to raise awareness in our students about the importance of foreign languages and ICT as means of breaking communicational barriers and in result improve their tolerance towards different cultures and their knowledge on employment possibilities. A team has been already formed by different primary school subject teachers and school administration, who work for the project. They are high skilled and motivated people who work together with parents and students.
